Millview holiday accommodation just outside Aviemore near Boat of Garten in the Cairngorm National Park, sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms. On the back road to the Cairngorm Ski centre why not avoid the crowds in Aviemore and book your stay at Millview.

The house has been completely modernised to provide luxury accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

Entrance:  with access to integral garage. The L shaped hallway has access to the lounge, kitchen/dining area, bathroom and bedrooms.

Lounge:  with an open fire, one three seater, one two seater leather settees plus arm chair, coffee table large patio doors leading out to the back garden and looking out onto the field behind the property. There is a flat screen TV, DVD and Wii, also a variety of games and books in the sideboard for guests to make use of.

Kitchen:  Spacious airy kitchen with plenty natural light. This newly installed kitchen has fitted fridge freezer, electric cooker, dishwasher and wine cooler. There is a dining table which sits 6 and a settee in the dining area of the kitchen with a door leading out to the back garden.

Master bedroom:  With a king size bed, 2 bedside cabinets, built-in wardrobe also an en suite bathroom with mains fed shower, WC and sink. There is a hair drier in this bedroom.

Second bedroom:  This room has a king size bed, bedside cabinets and a built-in wardrobe. There is a Jack and Jill door to the family bathroom also accessed from the hallway.

Third bedroom:  This bedroom has two single beds, bedside cabinets and a built-in wardrobe. An en suite with mains fed shower, sink and wc.

Family bathroom:  Has a bath with mains shower, sink and wc. There is a Jack and Jill door to the second bedroom.

Utility room:  There is a sink, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, iron and ironing board plus all the cleaning utensils required. A door leads out to the gable end of the house allowing access to the drying area. Also, plenty hooks for hanging jackets.

Garage:  A secure garage perfect for storing skis, canoes, bikes etc. This is the ideal place to hang wet jackets or store boots to dry off after a day up the hill.

Outside area:  The garden is fenced with a patio area with a table and chairs for sitting out accessed easily from the kitchen and lounge. 

All bed linen, towels, electricity, oil, internet access and off-road parking is included in the price.

The apartment is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.

Restaurants & Pubs: various in Boat of Garten – all within a few minutes drive or walk.

Food shops: There is a Tesco supermarket in Aviemore on the main street. Tesco will home deliver.  It is approx. 15 minutes drive.

Shops: Convenience store and Post Office approx 5 minutes drive.

Railway Station: 5 minutes walk. Direct connections to the north and south.

Cancellation policy – 25% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 75% as well as a refundable damage deposit due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. There is a 24-hour cooling off period after your booking is placed where you may cancel free of charge after that you will be required to pay the full rental amount if you cancel.

Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

    As a family group we found the en suite bedrooms particularly helpful. There was plenty of living space & having the garage to store bikes etc suited us perfectly. The house was very well equipped & very warm.

    The cottage is well appointed, immaculately clean and is a wonderful location:Boat of Garten and Loch Garten are both walk-able. Plenty of wildlife can be seen from the property, and fresh eggs can be bought across the road. It was these small pleasures that made our stay.

    Cottage is extremely comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. We had a very relaxing stay. There's so much to do in the area and the cottage was a welcome retreat after days out having fun with the family.

    We had a fantastic time on a short break at millview. The owners were lovely and the house was more than we could have expected.. it was perfectly placed for aviemore and the Cairngorms and we had a fantastic stay... with everything we might have needed. Thank you.

    The property was just what we wanted sizewise. We would have liked to have actually been in Boat of Garten . The information given did not tell us that we were actually in Streets of Kincardine and would have to drive to Boat of Garten. Perhaps this could be made clearer.

    Well appointed, comfortable and a quiet location with easy access to Aviemore. Loads of wildlife to see from the garden (deer, bats, birds of many types). Large parking area - could get 4 cars in if needed. Loved the artwork too!

    Millview was a lovely, comfortable, house, with everything you would need for a break away. It is very stylishly decorated but very homely. Although we didnt get great weather it was still nice to have the garden for our little grandaughter to run around in. The area is very peaceful and quiet,but close to Aviemore and all the attractions round about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were coming back to the area.

    We stayed at this very well stocked, warm, comfortable house in March. Nothing to fault, was perfect. Having 3 bathrooms an added bonus. Lovely fire and a brilliant large kitchen for long, lazy breakfasts.

    Millview was extremely comfortable, well provisioned and exceptionally clean. It has open views and is well located just outside Boat of Garten. The owners contacted us in good time and everything was in great order. We had a very friendly welcome and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

    We had a great week at Millview, Boat of Garten. The house itself was immaculate and very well equipped. There was plenty of room for us all with large areas of living space, comfortable beds, effective heating and plentiful hot water. Although just outside the village itself, a 2 minute drive meant we were able to eat at the Boat hotel and Andersons restaurant. We had lovely meals in both, with great service and they were very welcoming to our families. We walked at Loch Garten, Glenmore, and Loch an Eilean, and also to Aviemore via the Speyside Way, returning on the Speyvalley railway - a really good day out. We managed to ski for 3 days, at both Cairngorm and Lecht and hired our equipment from the Hilton, Coylumbridge where the staff were extremely helpful. We were 2 families with a baby, 11 & 13 year olds, the house and area were great for us all with something for everyone, we would love to return.

    A very well equipped , comfortable & warm (great after skiing) house. We'll be booking for 2015. Highly recommended if you want a quiet location within a 5-10 minute drive of Aviemore.

Millview is just over a mile outside the popular village of Boat of Garten, home of the Strathspey Steam Railway and the RSPB Osprey Reserve. Boat of Garten has two well stocked shops, a hotel, a restaurant, a spectacular golf course and tennis courts.
