We wanted something special whilst celebrating our wedding anniversary and our first visit to Stirling. Springwood apartment did not disappoint. Palatial is our description, and so comfortable. So much room. Very handy for the town centre and all the local amenities and attractions. Very well decorated and furnished, in all aspects.

  • Great place to stay, easy reach to stores and downtown Inverness, lots of space

This was a great space and great location for a 4 day visit. Access to food stores and to the town centre was simple and easy. The apartment was super clean and well-organized. The only suggestion I would make is that for non-Europeans like us (we are from Canada), some info on how recycling works would be helpful. We had to figure out where to take things (glass, plastic). Also, a local map showing where the apartment is vis-a-vis the high street and the best way to walk there would be useful.

  • A nice place to stay

Booked this apartment as a base from which to take part in the Etape Loch Ness cycle sportive that starts and finishes in Inverness. Location wise it was good, just a mile away from the event centre, and as an apartment it was an extremely pleasant place to stay, jost a short walk from the lovely riverside gardens. Spacious, clean and very well equipped (the only thing missing was a set of oven gloves) the apartment is a great place to stay to spend some time in and around Loch Ness and I would thoroughly recommend it to others. With views out over the River Ness, it was a pity the temperature was not a bit warmer as sitting out on the balcony overlooking the river watching the sun go down with a nice cold beer after cycling 66 miles would have been idyllic! :)

  • Excellent accommodation for a visit to Inverness.

A most comfortable, clean, well equipped apartment, with great views over the River Ness. Negatives - need to contact Highland Council to fix/reset the manhole cover in road beside bedrooms. Lounge curtain needs to be rehung. No side plates. Window sill exterior wood needs painting.

The apartment was well located, in a very quiet neighborhood and close to the main roads aswell as to the city center. Nevertheless there were no coffeehouse in the neighborhood. The apartment was very nicely decorated and was prepared for longer staying. The comfort in the apartment could be enhanced by giving attention to some details, especially for short staying hosts, like the provision of hygiene items and housekeeping services.

  • Lovely flat- wish could have stayed longer!

Our stay in Inverness was unfortunately to short, but we spent two very comfortable nights at Rossie Lodge. The hassle free access to the apartment meant our evening arrival was without fuss and our two children (10 & 14) could quickly get themselves settled, while I enjoyed the big bath after a beautiful drive from Edinburgh. The close proximity to groceries & fuel was a bonus. I only wish we had more time to sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful water view and explore the area further. Will be telling all our friends from Australia about Rossie Lodge and will put it on our return list.

Our family of four stayed three nights in the Rossie Lodge and loved it from the moment we walked in. It has a reserved parking space, and the key was in a lockbox on premises so no worrying about arrival times or coordinating a key pick-up. As a bonus, it had an elevator to take your luggage up which we didn’t expect and certainly appreciated! Once inside, the apartment was spacious, decorated comfortably, and extremely clean inside. It had plenty of room for a family to relax, and had all the modern appliances you could want including a microwave, large refrigerator/freezer, and a washer/dryer combo. The apartment was right on the River Ness as advertised, and very quiet with double-glazed windows. The beds were comfortable, although the one in the master could probably use replacing soon as one side was pretty spongy. One of our concerns before booking was the location being outside Inverness proper, but it really was convenient and I’d much prefer it over dealing with traffic and parking downtown. It took us less than 10 minutes to get downtown to the bus/train station, and there was a large modern Tesco nearby for easy stock-up on groceries. All in all a very pleasant visit, and one of our favorite places we stayed in Scotland. I would definitely stay there again if we went back, and highly recommend it.

The apartment was nice & spacious with lovely views. Unfortunately the was alot of cobwebs & some dead spiders around the apartment. The small balcony wasnt very inviting as it was quite badly weather worn & could have done with a tidy up! All in all the apartment was warm & the bed was comfy but for the price I would expect a higher standard of housekeeping & general decor (lots of empty picture hooks etc). Shame as the place could be excellent but instead is very tired.

A lovely location on the River Ness, quiet, and within walking distance to town, Tesco, and scenic islands in the Ness. The flat is well equipped with kitchen utensils and cleaning and laundry equipment. Having a car would be essential for people who are unable to walk at least two miles one way, but busses are conveniently nearby. Bathroom and kitchen faucets were hard to turn off completely.

When you first think about staying in Inverness you want somewhere nearby but far enough away to feel like you are not in the City centre, Then you want enough amenities to make it feel like home and of course you want a bit of luxury so that you feel a bit special. Finally you want it all wrapped up and delivered for a sum that won't bring your bank manager out in a sweat. Welcome to Rosie Lodge apartments. Located less than five minutes from the city centre the apartments were easy to find situated just off the main road over-looking the River Ness. Once inside the flat you realise that you are getting more than you bargained for and as you walk through each room the first thought that comes to you is "Can we buy it rather than rent it?" From the massive smart TV to the utility room with washer dryer and dishwasher there is everything you need and more. Whether you choose to walk to the local shops, drive 2 minutes to Tesco or visit the magnificent Asda (try the 14 inch pizza!) a further few minutes up the road, you have easy access to everything you need to stock up for your visit. Shopping in Inverness can be hard on the legs so nipping to the flat at lunchtime for a well earned rest is a real feature of this location. Relax on the sumptuous sofa whilst watching Netflix on the TV as your kids make use of the Wi-Fi to catch up with their friends back home then gather your strength and head back out to shop some more. hopefully you can tell that we loved everything about the apartment. We managed to get a fantastic price for our November break and hopefully it will be the same next year but we definitely got our moneys worth and would recommend this to anyone with a family who is looking for a bit more than sharing a bedroom at Travelodge or Premier Inn

The water went off briefly due to a burst in the main which nobody could predict. We phoned the owner Sandra and she had Scottish Water out and problem rectified in record timing! Generally clean, convenient luxury. Seating particularly comfortable. En-suite main bedroom large and all the beds were fantastic - wonderfully soft and enabled us to sleep well. Would love to know what the mattresses were made of! The bedding was clean, soft and felt very luxurious. Some minor problems - watch out for the tap on the corner bath, which was loose and came off in my hand! (fortunately it went back on okay, but caused some anxiety as the bath was rapidly filling when this happened). Similarly other taps were too tight for us (my mother and I) to work without the aid of my father. Would be helpful to have instructions for use of the cooker - leaflets available on just about every other item in the kitchen except the coffee machine, which would have been wonderful. We are all coffee addicts (all 3 of us), such a shame that we couldn't work out how to use the coffee machine. We did get the cooker to work. Helpful to have a dishwasher - we picked the flat partially because of this, but we were disappointed to find that some of the cutlery had been put away dirty despite this! We managed to find enough clean cutlery for the first night and put everything through the dishwasher on our first night so that it was all clean for the rest of our stay. No problem with plates etc. Nice to have a small balcony, but shame we could not find the key or work out how to get out there. We had hoped to have breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the river. We would certainly stay again if we were in the area as it was a very convenient location for us. The double glazing kept the flat quiet, despite being next to a fairly main road. The view over the river was delightful. The heating kept the flat quite warm - sometimes a little too warm as it is set automatically and we could not turn it down despite the weather being quite hot. It did mean, however that we had as much hot water as we wanted. My father (typical man) loved the large TV and the comfortable seating in the lounge. For cooking the kitchen was very well equipped and the separate (though linked) utility was very handy. Worth checking the cupboards and top shelf of wardrobes. I found the hair dryer on the top shelf of the wardrobe in the en-suite bedroom and my father located an airer in one of the cupboards. The cupboard in the hallway also had hooks where we kept coats. Plenty of plates, glasses and mugs - all of good quality. The dedicated parking space is not far from the front door, although as I am disabled we parked in the disabled bay which is closest to the flat. The lift made it possible for me to travel up and down to the flat easily, although there are stairs if you want to make use of them. The shared areas (entry hallway, lift and stairs) were extremely clean. The keysafe at the front door was a little stiff for my fingers but relatively easy for able-bodied individuals. It enabled us to obtain a key easily on arrival, even though we were a little earlier than originally planned. We hope to stay again and would definitely recommend the flat to others. Any issues were very minor and easily overcome. The whole flat was airy, comfortable and relatively spacious. The furniture and fittings gave the flat a luxurious feeling and made it a home from home.

We enjoyed the place very much for location, lovely view, spaciousness and overall ambience. However, a few detail items should be tended to. 1) The bathroom taps should be replaced. The water issues in two streams hot and cold, not very pleasant. A proper mixer tap would do better. Also, the tops are too slippery. 2) The dead dried plants in the balcony should be removed or replaced with healthy ones. 3) The window sills on the outer sides are dirty when the Windows are opened. Needs to be cleaned. As a whole the apartment is great.

The apartment was good, very clean and had all that we needed for the 2 nights we stayed. I had chosen this apartment as I am disabled and cannot walk very far due to lung/heart conditions because it had a lift. The only problem was the lift was not working. We contacted the owner as we had arrived at 5 on a Friday and she contacted Maintenance . A man arrived some 20/30 minutes later and after a while told us it needed a new part which would not be available till middle of the coming week - so no use for us. I had to struggle up the stairs and left considerably breathless. So, great as long as the lift works

The apartment is located a 5 minute drive from the centre of Inverness and we did not have any problems when ordering a taxi. There is also a Tesco Extra store a few minutes drive away. The apartment was very clean and the furnishings were comfortable. There were plenty of utensils in the kitchen and a lovely dining area to eat. We had an excellent weekend and would definitely return.

We were in Scotland for the Ryder Cup and wanted somewhere close to the train station so we could get to Gleneagles and also close to quality golf courses that we could play on the other days we were there. Rossie Lodge was a great fit. Plenty of space for 4 golfers and close to Nairn Golf Club, Castle Stuart and not too far from Royal Dornoch. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

Front door key hard to operate the door. Directions regarding the operation of Applicances need to be simplified. Identification of the property could be made clearer - hard to find.

It was very comfortable and nice to stay in 4 Rossie's Lodge. We stayed for not more than two days but the appartment can be easily used for more than one week. You will find it comfortable and quiet even if it is located not far from the street. We enjoyed our stay and we are very pleased to come back soon.

We are a family of three and booked 5 nights stay at Rossie Lodge. The apartment is located in a quiet and peaceful location in Inverness yet very close to the City Centre (30 mins walk) and we had the best of both worlds. Next to the river, the setting is beautiful and the apartment was very clean, spacious, airy as well as complete with all the amenities of a self-catering accomodation. The access is secure and with allocated parking space we found parking to be no problem at all. Highly recommended for a family when in Inverness. Gael Holiday Lettings made the experience enjoyable by ensuring the booking, checking in and checking out was smooth. Thank you very much

Apart from the weather, which was a tad hit & miss, the experience of spending time in the Inverness region was a very enjoyable one. The apartment made a very comfortable base, it is well equipped and modern in look and feel, with a good number of things to keep everyone happy when the rain is coming down and the day's exploring is over. Sleeps 4-6 comfortably, good bathrooms/showers. Location is perfect for exploring the city and region.

The apartment gave a warm welcome with it's nice view over the Ness River. The distance for a walk to the city is not to far but it is also well located to discover the area around Inverness. The rooms are well laid out for a family to stay a little longer in Inverness. Hope we can come back to enjoy this location again for a longer time.

We were impressed with the size and quality of this apartment. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was on hand and of a quality that we would have chosen for ourselves. The ease of parking is a big asset and we found the lift a boon. There's a 24 hour Tesco a few minutes away and an enjoyable breakfast facility also a few minutes away. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this apartment again.

We booked this apartment for a weekend to chill out and reacqaint ourselves with the lovely city of Inverness and were not disappointed. The apartment is roomy, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The 40 inch TV and WiFi were very well received by the family. The living room and balcony give a great view of the river and the centre of town is a short drive away. We will definitely be planning another stay in 4 Rossie Lodge.
