Thanks to June and Bob the owners of Burnside Croft. The cottage was lovely, very clean and well presented. A small enclosed garden, and a lovely private location. We really enjoyed our short stay and would not hesitate to return to this cottage again if we were visiting this area. Just outside Beauly so easy access to shops and amenities, but far enough from the beaten track to feel like a retreat. June and Bob were very welcoming and we were very impressed by the eco fire/boiler too.

Stayed here for a week whilst visiting my little boy on the Black Isle. From the warm welcome from Bob & June, a lovely little welcome package of wine, shortbread & chocolates, our stay was perfect. The cottage is tucked away - nice & quiet - but only 5 mins drive from Beauly. It was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our two dogs were welcomed and they had a wonderful week as well. Good to know that they rent throughout the year, and it represents excellent value for money - I think this will become our regular base when visiting my son. Thanks Bob & June - We'll be back! Thanks go to our hosts who made us feel truly welcome. The cottage itself was delightful with an eco friendly heating system that made it so cosy and delivered copious amounts of hot water. The shower was impressively powerful. The surroundings are spectacularly beautiful with plenty of places to visit. We loved our stay and hope to return one day.

A lovely place to stay with a very warm welcome from the owners. We followed their tip and took in the fabulous high tea at the Priory Hotel! Location is peaceful with views overlooking Beauly and red kites flying over the garden. Facilities are great with incredible wood pellet fueled heating and hot water. We stayed there over the Scottish 6 day orienteering event and it was handy for travelling to (the absolutely beautiful) Glen Affric and Inverness.

Burnside Cottage is located up the hill at the back of Beauly. We had a lovely warm welcome with some goodies on arrival. The owners are really helpful and pleasant. There is a biomass burner in the lounge which heats the cottage. This needs to be topped up regularly. The accommodation is excellent and very comfortable. It is very well equipped including some games, DVD's and books to borrow. The garden has play equipment for children. We would love to return.

  • Very nice, tidy and pleasant place to stay. Xx

Had a great four night stay at Burnside Croft, such a nice welcome of very friendly hosts. We stayed there while attending the International sheep dog trials so didn't have much time to visit the area. Would certainly book here again when planning a visit to the treasures of this area. Plenty to do I discovered.
