Larchfield is located in Daviot, just outside Inverness, and is available for self catering rental throughout the year. Less than 10 minutes drive from Inverness Larchfield is a great location to enjoy the countryside while still being close to the capital of the Highlands.

A spacious 3 bedroom self-catering modern house, sleeping up to 6 guests, equipped to the highest of standards, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable location to make the most of a relaxing holiday or as a base to explore the wider Scottish Highlands.

Entrance:  Both front and back doors open in to a large bright hall. All rooms are accessed from the hall.

Lounge:  Spacious living area with 3 piece suite, coffee table, TV (Freeview), DVD player. Bay windows with stunning views across Daviot Moor. There are a selection of games and DVD’s.

Dining Area:  Just off the lounge. Table and seating for 6. Door leading to kitchen.

Kitchen:  Well equipped fully fitted modern kitchen with island breakfast bar. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty crockery, glassware and cutlery for up to 6 guests.

Utility Room:  Washing machine and tumble drier.

Master Bedroom – spacious bedroom with kingsize bed, bedside units, fully fitted units.  En suite shower room.

Bedroom 2:  Twin beds with bedside units. Fully fitted units with wash hand basin.

Bedroom 3:  Twin beds with bedside units. Free standing units. Bathroom – corner bath with overhead shower, wash hand basin and wc.

Outside:  There is ample parking for 2 cars outside the house. The garden is secure for those wishing to take pets. We are happy to accommodate up to 2 well behaved dogs.

All bed linen, towels, electricity and heating oil are included in the price.

The house is fully stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, washing up products, toilet rolls, bin liners, etc. The only thing you need to take is your clothes and food.

Supermarket: Tesco/Asda – 15 minutes drive away.

Theatre/cinema: Eden Court Theatre is about a 20 drive minutes away.

Cafe1 in Castle Street – turn left at MacDonalds and walk up the hill. Cafe1 is on your left – Scottish/Varied

Fig and Thistle – on Stephens Brae not far from Girvans – Scottish.

Rocpool – across the river at the end of the High Street, on the corner on the left.

2 dogs welcome at an additional cost.

A travel cot (own bed linen required) & high chair are available.

Check in is anytime after 4pm. Check out time is 10am.

Cancellation policy – 25% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 75% as well as a refundable damage deposit due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. There is a 24-hour cooling off period after your booking is placed where you may cancel free of charge after that you will be required to pay the full rental amount if you cancel.

Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

    This was once again a wonderful holiday at Larchfield. We have stayed here for the last 4 years and as always a great time was had by us and our two dogs. The bungalow is well situated for sightseeing the Highlands and secuded but close enough to Inverness for the shopping and petrol. Would highly recommend this property and the Highlands.

    Larchfield is in a very quiet place only a short drive from Inverness. This house has got it all. I can't think of anything that could be improved. Even the fridge was nicely filled with products we needed for a start and there was fresh bread and a nice bottle of red wine. The owners are very nice people and most obviously spend a lot of thoughts on the needs and comfort of their guests. Just a wonderful place.

    The holiday was perfect ,the house was one of the best we have been in for a long.,the welcome pack was lovely, The garden the views was brilliant the peace and quiet for great no noise, ,we will be coming again for 2 weeks so I can relax from hectic NHS live

    We had a super time in Larchfield. Superb location and everything was provided to make for a really enjoyable stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Our grandchildren had great fun playing in the garden and enjoyed visits to nearby Landmark, Highland Wildlife Park and beautiful beach at Nairn.

    We would highly recommend Larchfield as a home away from home. The house was perfect for us (2 adults and 3 children aged 9, 6 & 2) and was well equipped for us all with a very large main bedroom, 2 twin rooms and a travel cot that was provided for us on arrival. Having the use of the washing machine etc was a big bonus for us. Everything in the house was easy to use and when we did get a little stuck all the instruction manuals were there to help (which came in handy with the induction hob!). The location is fantastic, only 10 minutes drive from city centre and an excellent base for days out to Landmark, Aviemore etc but yet it is so peaceful and quiet with beautiful views, which is much appreciated after a busy day out sight seeing and doing plenty of activities with the kids. Having the garden gated and fenced was a huge plus for us as was the long driveway which the kids had hours of fun playing on their scooters in the evenings. For us there was no down side to our stay at Larchfield and we have already recommended to family and friends. We may even be back next year!

    This is the third year that we have stayed at Larchfield and are already planning another visit next year. The bungalow is excellently equipment, clean and comfortable. It is a good location for sightseeing in the highlands and Mr and Mrs Lee's personal touch makes you feel very welcome. There are little treats in the fridge (cheese, milk, butter, lager and wine) and there were oatcakes and bread as well. Our two dogs were made to feel very welcome with treats, bowls and towels left for them too. The garden is extremely secure too, so we don't have to worry about the dogs getting out. The location of the bungalow is very tranquil as it overlooks a valley without be overlooked by other properties. By far the best holiday home we have stayed in over the last 30 years. Highly recommended.

    Great house,the only snag and this is not the houses fault is that there is no pub nearby.......but house bang on very warm and cosy and there is a huge tesco 3 miles away

    The house was left in a welcoming condition with some basic supplies like bread and milk in the fridge. Lovely kitchen, spacious living and dining rooms, nicely furnished bedrooms. Best of all a lovely secluded mature garden with stunning views. My family and dog loved every minute - we will be back soon I hope. An additional bonus for us was being quite close to the Drumossie Hotel where we had a big family occasion. Thanks very much Mrs Lee!

    Larchfield is one of the best places we had as a holiday home. We had a whole house for ourselves with plenty of room and a fenced garden for our dog. There was a little bit of fresh food provided, including coffee, tea and milk, enough to have an evening meal and breakfast. You can really relax there and it is only a short drive to get everything you need in Inverness. It is a good place to explore the wonderful surroundings and when you look outside you are already there! Don't forget to see the Dolphins!

    Lovely house and location. Central location and in easy reach of all we wanted to see and do. Welcome pack above and beyond what we have experienced at other locations. Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Lovely walks in the area - if you are so inclined.

    Would recommend this cottage and also gael holiday company first class service. Owner gave us a lovely welcome pack and wine which is a very nice gesture we holiday often in cottages and very rarely do you get a welcome pack a very nice touch. Will use this company again and also hopefully Larchfield
