Oran Mor is a brand new architect designed property with spectacular views over Loch Fleet and the surrounding hills of Sutherland. Beautifully designed to a high specification it is superbly comfortable and stylish with mid century furniture and a Scandinavian colour palette throughout.
Open plan dining room & lounge: The spacious open plan layout has full height windows and double patio doors to make the most of the spectacular views and keep the house light and airy. The Danish wood burning stove is a beautiful place to gather in the evening on the upholstered benches, double sized love seats and Ercol sofa. The black and white dining tables and chairs look out across the rear garden and lawn and the patio doors open up to the covered deck.
Kitchen: The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with two full size ovens, fridge freezer, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and a comprehensive range equipment to satisfy any cook. Vintage and contemporary glassware and crockery complement the interior.
Laundry and Loo: A separate laundry room contains a washing machine and a tumble dryer and plenty of space for coats, storage and drying. A separate downstairs loo and cloakroom is useful for guests.
Downstairs Suite: A free standing Hypnos super king–size bed with a custom built headboard takes fully advantage of the views and a small sofa complements the Zoffany curtains and furnishings. The en suite bathroom has a large rainfall walk-in shower, heated towel rails and a luxurious built in bath. Bed linen and towels are from The White Company and pillow and duvets are duck and goose down.
Upstairs Suite: The super king-size Hypnos bed can also be turned into two large singles. The floor to ceiling picture window looks across the Loch and westwards to the mountains. Full black out shutters and blinds make the room cozy and quiet at night. Ercol chairs, storage and dressing tables continue the mid century style. The ensuite has a fantastic double height shower with two wall hanging vanity units and heated towel rails. Bed linen and towels are from The White Company and pillow and duvets are duck and goose down.
Mezzanine: The large mezzanine area has two chairs for reading by the floor to ceiling picture window and a huge L shaped sofa for lounging in front of 50” flat screen TV. The frameless glass balustrade means that the view from the upstairs dormer picture windows is uninterrupted.
A welcome hamper and first night supplies are provided and a full pre arrival shopping service is offered on request including a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits.
The home is fully stocked with cleaning and laundry supplies including bathroom sundries.
Wi-Fi and local calls are included at no extra cost.

25% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 75% as well as a refundable damage deposit due no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
