1 bedroom compact apartment in the Crown area of Inverness, within a couple of minutes’ walk of the city centre. Newly fully refurbished in 2017. Free off-street parking and Wi-Fi.

All rooms are on the ground floor
Lounge/Diner: 2 seat settee plus arm chair, dining table with 2 chairs, TV with DVD player, coffee table.
Kitchen: The compact galley kitchen has an electric oven with hob and extractor, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, glasses and kitchenware.
Bedroom: king-size bed, bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobe with mirror, hair dryer.
Shower room: Electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet.
Outside: Off-street parking for one car. Parking space is on a first come, first served basis and cannot be guaranteed. Usually there is space available however on the odd occasion if there isn’t a space there paid parking on the nearby streets.
The apartment has new electric panel heaters.
All bed linen, towels and tea towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person)
Electricity and Wi-Fi.
Numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, etc all within a couple of minutes’ walk.
For breakfast try Girvins 200 metres away – turn right out of the apartment and follow the road down the hill toward the city centre.

Entry details: arrival time is anytime after 3pm, latest departure time is 10am. Early check in and late check out are available at an extra cost (subject to availability – please ask.)
The property is not suitable to accommodate a baby cot.
Minimum stay of 2 nights. Corporate rates available for longer stays.

Cancellation policy – a 30% deposit will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance due will be charged 14 days prior to arrival and will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no show. A booking can be cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date and the final balance will not need to be paid.
Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated and equipped unlike some holiday lets that seem to be filled with clutter and cast offs. Everything was new and well kept. Perfect for a short break

Our second time in the apartment and again a very pleasant stay. A couple of points to follow up on - the shower could do with a non-slip mat and housekeeping should really check that the vacuum cleaner has been emptied as it was completely blocked - nae sook!

An excellent apartment at an excellent price providing great value for money. Crown House is located within 5 minutes walk of the city centre, an indoor shopping centre and a 10 minute walk to a large supermarket. It is very close to the bus station and railway station. There is even a great cafe on the corner of the street - highly rated by the Guardian newspaper as one of the best in the country. The pictures of the outside of the apartment do not do it justice - it is very clean, comfortable and cosy with a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and shower and extremely comfortable bed with high quality linen. We could not fault it in any way and would stay there again without hesitation.
Excellent apartment, shame about the unkept frontage and hallway.

Just returned from our week at Crown House Flat B. The flat itself was excellent in most ways. We only gave comfort a Good as there was a slight clinical feeling about the front room, no shelving or bookcase or anywhere to put our books etc, also hooks on the back of the shower room and bedroom doors would have been a great assest for hanging dressing gowns. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in good working order and the dishwasher very useful. Regarding the frontage and hallway these were in need of a good sweep and wipe down which we spoke to the cleaner about this and said she would contact the owners about this as it had been mentioned before. Thank you Gael Holidays for the efficent way in which you handled our booking right through to the arrival info.
Your ideal short term place to stay when in Inverness

The Crown House apartment is as good as new and very cosy. The only negative thing I could mention, is that the cleanliness wasn't as expected (I found dust and mud in the cupboard and in the bedroom, someone else's sock in the washing machine, a dirty oven tray in the oven, waste packaging in the bathroom, ...) I emailed Gael homes (the agency through which I had booked) right after I had cleaned up myself late at night upon arriving, which was a Wednesday. On Friday evening, I received a phone call from housekeeping who had just received my mail through Gael homes. A friendly lady apologised and said she'd check with her manager which compensation could be given. On Tuesday I received a call from Gael proposing a refund that seemed fair to me. If the cleaning staff will pay more attention in the future, then this apartment will surely be your ideal location to stay when being in Inverness. It's only a 4 min walk to the heart of Inverness (and Inverness is a great city by the way), you can leave your car for free on the private parking, it's decorated nicely and it's got all you need. I can honestly say that I'd pick this one again when in Inverness.

What a fab apartment! Beautiful big comfy bed with comfy big duvets and big pillows. I fell asleep right away. The apartment was clean with all brand new furnishings and I could control the heat in every room. The bathroom even has a towel warmer!! The neighborhood is quiet and literally around the corner from the center from town and the huge shopping mall. Cute bike cafe at the corner around the bend as well. I actually came home early every night just to be in the apartment and enjoy it. The apartment is on the ground floor with two entry doors at the front of the building. Fantastic stay and I would stay here 100% over any hotel if I return to Inverness. Thank you!

My wife and I had a lovely experience in a very comfortable and ultra modern apartment/flat with a vintage feel. We will be returning for another holiday.

The apartment was very comfortable but we couldn't figure out how to get hot water at either sink. I felt like the list of things they wanted done (making sure all switches were off) every time you left was a little too much. The garbage was to be taken out each day but we couldn't find the replacement bags so only took it out once. Directions on how to use appliances might have been a little clearer. Bed was very comfortable and the agents at Gael Holiday Homes were very nice. Instructions on getting into the flat were easy to follow.

Appartement très propre et très sécurisant. Le lit est très confortable. Juste quelques points: la ventilation dans la salle de bains est très bruyante, il manquait quelques ustensiles de cuisine comme un ouvre boîte et un ouvre bouteille ainsi qu'une chaise ou deux. Sinon, c'est parfait.

The flat is very well presented but there was no fire extinguisher or fire blanket as mentioned in the information folder. The kitchen lacks an oven glove, can opener and measuring jug - all essentials for self-catering. The small water heater is totally inadequate for anything other than washing your hands. Having said that we enjoyed our stay - the location is excellent - two minutes to the centre of Inverness.
Located in the Crown area of the city centre. Free off-street parking at the front door for one car allowing guests to walk into the city centre within a couple of minutes. Very close to the shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and amenities of the city centre.
