A 2 bedroom apartment on the first and second floor with private entrance off Tomnahurich Street, within a 2 minute walk of the city centre. A parking permit is provided to allow on-street parking. The apartment has a traditional feel and has been updated with new kitchen and bathroom. Guests have private use of the entire apartment including a private patio area with seating to the rear on the ground floor.

Entrance: private doorway off the main street. Corridor with door to rear patio area, stairs leading up to main living space. Cupboard with washing machine/dryer and freezer.

First floor:

Lounge: settee suitable for 4 guests, coffee table, TV with Freesat channels, dining table with chairs.

Kitchen: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, radio, crockery, cutlery, utensils and cookware.

Bedroom1: can be arranged with superking bed or with 2 singles. Bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, clothes storage, mirror. Window looking out to rear of building.

Second floor:

Bedroom2: can be arranged with superking bed or 2 singles. Bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, clothes storage, mirror. Window looking out to the front.

Bathroom: mains shower, wash hand basin and wc.

Heating: the apartment has gas central heating throughout.

Wi-Fi: internet access is included at no extra cost.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person)

Electricity and gas for the heating/hot water system

Parking: a parking permit is provided for on-street parking on Tomnahurich Street. Parking spaces are limited and are on a first come first served basis. Additional parking is available close by at £10 per day.

Cancellation policy – a 30% deposit will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance due will be charged 14 days prior to arrival and will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no show. A booking can be cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date and the final balance will not need to be paid.

Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

    This is an ideal base for exploring Inverness and beyond. The apartment was well equipped for a short stay providing extra touches such as a dishwasher and washing machine. It was a very short walk into the city and all amenities. Loch Ness and the Highlands are a beautiful drive away with jaw dropping vistas. We enjoyed our stay.

    The webpage don't inform about the stairs. Two floors and the bathroom upstairs. The shower doesn't work right, because the curtain wasn't useful and the water finally got on the floor. This sistem is certainly dangerous. The coffee machine doesn´t work too.

    Thank you for your feedback. We will ask the owners to look at the coffee machine. Sorry the apartment didn't meet with your expectations and you didn't enjoy the layout as much as others guests. We are a little confused about your comments regarding the stairs as we do detail in our descriptions that the property is on two floors and we show a picture of the stairs in our picture gallery. We agree the shower could be improved and having discussed it with the owners their intention is to replace the bath with shower to a shower cubicle.

    Really enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean and lovely rooms. With very comfortable rooms and great for a family four as nice and spacious for returning after a busy day to relax . If coming back definitely want to stay here again and for us enjoyed far more than all being squashed in one hotel room. Only downside is in summer if need open windows night hear traffic . However still would win over many other places stayed. Communication also fantastic in advance which is great when you know there is no actual reception.

    We found the oven hadn't been cleaned nor the bath but everything else was great. Close to restaurants and the supermarket

    Enjoyed a weekend here. House well positioned for main sights and parking permit very welcome! Busy street but no noticeable noise. House well equipped and comfortable in the whole. Mattresses too soft for us and sofa in lounge too deep - just modern taste perhaps or a necessary consequence of having a sofa bed in the lounge. Microwave in kitchen - but no microwaveable containers so only suitable for ready meals. No casserole dishes for oven either. We would return as overall a very enjoyable stay.

    Great apartment. The photos actually don't do the apartment justice. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, spacious, warm, excellent location and dog friendly..I couldn't ask for anything more. Can't wait to book our next stay.

    Gael Holiday Homes, were very professional and accommodating on our request for a short term let for 4 people who were performing at Eden Court Theatre. They helped out every way they could to smooth the process of renting one of their properties, and made everything very clear upon booking. They were always at the end of the phone if we had any questions and nothing was ever too much bother. If we had to rent again in Inverness we would definitely use them and would highly recommend the company to anyone wanting either a weekend break or short term let in Inverness. Property was beyond the 4 guests expectations and they were very pleased with the location.


Location

Located on the west side of the River on the main road out of Inverness to Loch Ness and the west coast. The front door of the apartment opens to the pavement/sidewalk of Tomnahurich. This is a busy street into the city centre [200 metres away] however the apartment is on the first and second floor so guests are not disturbed by street noise.
