First-floor apartment.  All rooms are on the same floor once inside the apartment.

Lounge: Bright and airy lounge/dining area with views over the beach, out to sea and toward Macduff. Ample seating for relaxing, TV with Freeview channels, table and 4 chairs for dining. There is a Bluetooth speaker.

Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with double electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glassware and cooking utensils.

Bathroom: Shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.

Bedrooms: One bedroom with a king size bed and the other with a double, both rooms with built in wardrobes.

There is gas central heating and on-demand hot water.

All bed linen and towels are included in the tariff.

Electricity & Wi-FI

The owners provide a Tom Tom sat nav for guest use.

Numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, etc all within a couple of minutes’ walk.

Bookings are weekly starting on a Saturday with arrival time anytime after 3:30pm and departure time at 10:30am the following Saturday. There is a key collection point at the apartment allowing guests flexibility in arrival time after 3:30pm.

Cancellation policy – a 30% deposit will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance due will be charged 42 days prior to arrival and will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no show. A booking can be cancelled up to 42 days before the arrival date and the final balance will not need to be paid.

Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

Security deposit: an amount of £100 will be pre-authorised against the card you pay your final balance 10 days prior to arrival. This will reduce your available balance on your card by £100 for 30 days.

Rate table shows the base weekly rental rates only when the property is only available for weekly bookings. Short breaks may be available and are not shown below. Rates do not include additional booking fee of £24 or £28 where applicable. Seasonal offers are available at times where no or a reduced booking fee applies.

    The Granary apartment in Banff is really excellent. Everything in the apartment is beautifully done - apart from one small thing - the electrical switches need labelling as you would not want to switch off something by mistake. The location is as good as it gets - great view over the bay, just along from the Tesco, and easy walking distance to the bus stops so a good one for those who do not have a car.

    Had an excellent week in the apartment which has everything that you could possibly require. Lovely views of the constantly changing beach scene. Well placed for shops and handy for the Harbour. It was a good choice.

    The Granary #8 exceeded expectations in all respects. I was here on a work trip. Everything I needed was nearby. It felt as good as being at home! I've stayed in quite a few places in the Banff and Macduff area. This is the without doubt the best of all.

    We had a brilliant holiday at the Granary. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was beautifully presented. It was lovely to eat breakfast looking out at the sea. Its location is convenient for exploring the north east coast of Scotland and there is a Tesco within walking distance for provisions. (There is also a Coop nearby). There is private parking right outside the apartment block and the approach to the 1st floor apartment is spotless and looks recently refurbished (as does the apartment). The Information panel about the history of the building is really interesting and there are plenty of useful leaflets to inform you of places of local interest. I don't think the photos of this place does it justice. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a base from which to explore the Morayshire coastline. It was Fab. Thank you so much.

    Apartment 8 The Granary Banaff was a beautiful spacious two bed apartment and everything we could possibly need was provided. Tescos The Ship Public House was 2mins away and the famous Spotty Bag Shop was 3 mins away From Apartment 8 the Highlands are in easy reach in a day. For bird watchers and walkers this is an ideal location. The scenery is stunning and we enjoying a tranquil holiday


The apartment sits on the sea front of Banff and offers spectacular views of the beach, Moray Firth, Banff Bay and towards Macduff.
The harbour town of Banff is situated on the scenic Aberdeenshire coast with a range of attractions and activities on its doorstep from golfing to salmon fishing on the River Deveron. As well as water sports and beautiful sandy beaches, other highlights of this section of coastline include pretty harbour villages, such as Cullen, Portsoy, Gardenstown and Pennan, meandering coastal walks and wildlife watching spots. During your self-catering holiday in Banff you could also tour local distilleries on the Malt Whisky Trail and sample fine local fare; visit attractions such as Macduff Aquarium and Duff House, a gorgeous Georgian mansion that now houses an art gallery; or simply soak up the sea views from the comfort of your home-from-home.
