New holiday home on the road to Cairngorm Mountain on outskirts of Aviemore. Within walking distance of the town great luxury holiday home with hot tub.

All rooms are on the same level. Delmhor 1 is a detached house.

Open plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner area – 3 seat settee, 2 seat settee and reclining chair. Large flat screen TV with Freesat channels. Coffee table, modern kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and table and chairs to seat 6.

Master bedroom – King size bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobes, en suite shower room.

Second bedroom – King size bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe.

Third bedroom – Twin beds, built in wardrobe.

Family bathroom – bath with shower, wash hand basin, toilet.

Outside – front and back garden gardens have grass with patio area in back garden. There is a covered veranda at the front of the house with table and chairs for 4. There is a hot tub in the back garden and a lockable shed for guest use with washing machine and tumble drier. This space can be used for drying outdoor clothing and for storing outdoor equipment.

There is a private driveway suitable for parking 2 cars.

The house is in a small cul-de-sac with no through traffic.

All bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included in the price.

Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional cost as shown on the online booking form (small or medium sized dogs only please).

Travel cot & high chair available at no extra charge – please bring your own blankets.

Check in time after 4pm, check out time 10am.

25% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 75% as well as a refundable damage deposit due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. There is a 24-hour cooling off period after your booking is placed where you may cancel free of charge after that you will be required to pay the full rental amount if you cancel.

Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.

    We travelled to Aviemore and stayed at Delmhor No 1 in October 2017. The pre-information from Gael Holiday Homes was great and they were very quick at getting back to any queries. We frequently travel to Aviemore and really enjoyed staying in this property with our dog. The living area is very spacious and the house overall is nice and modern. The flooring could do with being looked at as it creaks something awful when anyone walks on it so no one can move about without everyone knowing. The area is really accessible for walks and the hot tub is lovely to relax in and we used it every evening. We would return and like to stay again when we next return to Aviemore.

    overall a great location, perfect for accessing Rothiemurchus path network, large fenced garden. We stayed at nos. 3 Delmor last year and found Nos.1 provided more room, the facilities were very good particularly the hot tub after walks etc. We would highly recomend this place, and look forward to future breaks with Gael Cottages.

    We spent a week holiday here at the end of August and it was just fab. Cottage was very spacious and comfortable, with everything you will need for your time away. Perfect location especially if you have dogs, there is lots of places to walk and sightsee. Just 2 miles from the town centre with lots of places to eat, drink and shop. This cottage has hot tub in the back garden which was a great addition to the holiday and was great to relax in after a day of exploring the Cairngorms. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and will be returning in the near future.

    Really nice accommodation in an ideal location for all the area has to offer. Very attentive and efficient staff in the bookings office. I would suggest upgrading the mattresses on the beds as they were quite soft, sturdier plastic glasses for outdoor use, robes/towels for hot tub, better privacy from back garden of Delmhor 2 when in hot tub. These were not major problems and we had a very enjoyable stay.

    We've been holidaying as as family for the last twelve years in Aviemore, and have stayed in a variety of properties, to which we must say this has set a new standard in terms of quality and overall ambience. This was the first time we have used Gael Holiday Homes and the booking / confirmation process was very straightforward and good levels of communication were displayed. The house is very tastefully finished and oozes quality and space, obviously this comes at a cost, but we could certainly say we were impressed by the whole offering v cost and we look forward to returning in future to this property.

    A great location in heart of Rothiemurchas Estate. Great walking and mountain biking from the doorstep but also close to all other attractions and centre of Aviemore. Kitchen missing a few essentials but this wouldn't stop us revisiting.

    Positives - nice house and pet and child friendly garden. Outdoor activity storage shed and hot tub a great asset. Improvement suggestions - mattresses very soft and in need of upgrading, no frying pan, no mirrors in guest bedrooms, sixth outdoor chair would be good.

    Spent 4 nights at the bungalow on the bank holiday weekend. The accommodation was excellent with two double rooms and twin room for the children, a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. The bungalow is beautiful albeit we spent most of our time out and about. It was a family holiday and everyone enjoyed the hot tub when we returned after a hard day walking and cycling, this was an added bonus. There is a large garden and the bungalow is situated at the end of a cul de sac which made it safe for the children. The location was ideal as the cycle paths were just across the road, so very safe for our young grandchildren. There are so many outdoor activities nearby it is a great place for enjoying the outdoors. There are loads of eating places to choose from, some within walking distance and a must is the Mountain cafe for breakfast!!!

    We have been holidaying in Aviemore for a no. of years and came across Delmhor on our last trip. The location of the house is perfect, all the walking and cycle tracks at your door and close enough to walk to many of the restaurants and activities in Aviemore. House is furnished very well and modern in style. Comfy beds and quiet surroundings. The hot tub is an added bonus (and kept immaculately clean, the provider appeared twice in our week to clean it!) The house is everything you could want from a holiday home and more. We will 100% be recommending to family and friends.

    Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Cupboard space in the third bedroom would help. Perhaps a little more detail on instructions such as how to use the cooker etc All minor details and I'm sure this house will get great reviews and repeat bookings.

    This was genuinely a fantastic holiday home, I just cannot explain in words just how fantastic a time we had while staying here. If, like us, you were new to aviemore, I can tell you that the location of this home is absolutely excellent - literally everything is within reach. Across the road is a mountain bike hire place and the trails are right behind. There is the rothiemurcus fishing centre just 2 minutes down the road, and a lovely Italian taverna beside that. The house itself was super clean, the beds were delightfully comfortable. There was sky TV with all the channels (very unusual for a holiday home!) and also there was wireless internet, which was also connected to the sky. Not that we watched it much but it was handy for the kids to watch peppa pig during breakfast. The hot tub was gorgeous and such a lovely extra - we were in it every evening. First time I didn't want to leave a holiday home!

    Stayed here for a weekend of snowboarding with my friends & had a great weekend. Everything in the house was new & well looked after, all the beds were very comfy & the hot tub was always hot & ready to go. Would recommend staying here & will probably stay here again ourselves.

Located on the road to Rothiemurchas and the Cairngorm Mountains, Delmhor 1 is a newly built holiday home furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The holiday home offers guests a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre yet is still within walking distance (2 miles) for guests who prefer not to drive, cycle or take a taxi to and from the town centre.
