A family holiday home in the Highburnside area of Aviemore. Kersheil is great holiday home in the Cairngorm National Park for a summer or winter holiday.
For those that like to get really active there are a number of places for mountain biking, ample opportunities for winter sports activities during the colder months, plenty places to cast out a line for fishing, pony trekking and horse riding, hill walking and mountain climbing, water sports at Loch Morlich and the list goes on.

Entrance hallway with cloakroom toilet, leading to main hall. Main hall has a cloakroom cupboard with iron and board, bookcase with a selection of books guests are welcome to read during their stay.
Lounge: 2 leather settees and a chair and a beanbag, coffee table, corner cupboard with guest information and maps for reference and some games, wood burner stove, TV and DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, patio doors to rear garden, lovely views of woodland to rear and open aspects to front.
Kitchen/dining room: Fitted kitchen double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, wide variety of kitchen utensils and serving dishes, wide variety of cooking pots and ovenware, selection of glassware and dinnerware. Tea towels are provided. Dining table and 6 chairs.
Utility room: Located off kitchen/dining room with sink, Bosch washer and separate dryer and Bosch microwave. Door to rear garden.
Twin bedroom: 2 single beds and side tables, sliding mirror wardrobe and chest of drawers and roller blind. There is also a trundle additional bed suitable for a child. Hairdryer available
Second bedroom: Bunk room with full sized bunks, small sliding mirror wardrobe, TV and Wii console and 3 beanbags.
Large family bathroom: with bath and walk in shower, vanity storage space.
Outside space: enclosed rear garden backing onto woodland. Patio area, BBQ and garden furniture are provided. Parking for 2 cars at front of house.
All bed linen, towels, electricity, heating oil, a basket of logs for the stove, internet access and private parking for 2 cars is included in the price.
Restaurants & Pubs: various in Aviemore – around a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive.
Food shops: There is a Tesco supermarket on the main street. Tesco will home deliver.
Shops: Various shops in the Myrtlefield shopping centre and on the main street.
Banks: RBS on the main street
Railway Station: on the main street. Direct connections to the north and south.
A high chair is at no extra charge. If you require a travel cot/crib and stair gate please bring one with you.
The house is heated throughout by oil central heating. Hot water is available on demand.
Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out time is 11am.
30% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 70% due no later than 6 weeks before arrival. There is a 24-hour cooling off period after your booking is placed where you may cancel free of charge after that you will be required to pay the full rental amount if you cancel.
Cancellation protection policy is available during booking or before the final balance payment is made.
Security deposit: an amount of £100 will be pre-authorised against the card you pay your final balance 10 days prior to arrival. This will reduce your available balance on your card by £100 for 30 days.
Rate table shows the base weekly rental rates only when the property is only available for weekly bookings. Short breaks may be available and are not shown below. Rates do not include additional booking fee of £24 or £28 where applicable. Seasonal offers are available at times where no or a reduced booking fee applies.

Great modern house in good location. House was clean, warm and welcoming and is well stocked with kitchen equipment and bedding/towels were all lovely fresh and clean. All the little additional touches made our stay even better from the wii in the kids room and selection of games etc in the living room and outdoor tap. All contact with Gael holiday homes was easy and helpful. House has plenty of space for a family of four and great garden too. The garage which has access from the house is great for keeping outdoor equipment etc. We had a great week in aviemore and loved staying in the house....we will definitely be back.

Lovely home in a central location. We had a great week here. We would recommend Kersheil to anyone looking for a house in the Aviemore area. It was well kitted out with everything we needed.

an excellent holiday home with a high level of comfort , . blinds in kitchen windows would be appreciated, hooks on bathroom doors, non slip mat on shower , a very good standard of house servicing was noted , it is not truly a house suitable for 4 adults .as adults would not, in my opinion, be comfortable in Bunk beds overall score would be of the order 100 %

This is a modern, well furnished house, situated close to the centre of Aviemore. It is a good size - larger than would be suggested from the photos - and beds, bedding and towels are of a good standard. Note that you have two single beds (Bed 1) and bunk beds (Bed 2). It is also well provisioned at the out-set; a rare feature indeed in the UK & Europe. There is a path close to the property but you do need a car, given the vagaries of the weather. The agents were most professional. There are only two minor criticisms of the property: the instructions / guidance are poor to non-existent (eg. the log-burner shown does not correspond to the actual unit) and the inability to use the central heating when it was 8 degrees in June! The latter is 80% compensated by an excellent log burner. Towels can be dried in the TD. Overall, a brilliant property

What a lovely, warm, welcoming house. Great location as close to Aviemore's orbital path. House was very well kitted out, clean, modern, lots of space and light. Use of garage to store bikes was a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Stunning location. We have spent a week in Aviemore for the past 10 years so know the area well. House was to a high standard and the personal touch from the owner was lovely. Attention to detail for guests was second to none (full book shelf,games,wi console,maps etc). Perfect for families and ultra child friendly which suited us. Walks in woods directly to rear of house were magnificent. Stayed in an identical property previously which had full use of all 3 bedrooms rather than 2 but price and location made up for this. 100% we shall return.

Had a fabulous week staying at Kersheil. The house was spotless, well equipped and very spacious. It was a real bonus having use of the garage to store our bikes. We hope to return again very soon.

A beautifully presented large new detached property in Aviemore close to all facilities. Property had plenty of space, was warm, and was furnished beautifully with lots of nice touches, including children's games. WiFi worked perfectly. The owner Alison was always very helpful. We had a superb week of skiing on Cairngorm mountain. The deer coming close to the back garden fence was a bonus.

A lovely house, well equipped, warm and in a quiet location. Perfect for our family with 2 kids aged 6-9. Great walk in the woods behind the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Just back from a week in Aviemore staying in Kersheil. The house is lovely, very clean, luxurious well equipped, and the wood burning stove kept us cosy and relaxed in the colder evenings. Aviemore has so much to offer, the kids love a day out at Landmark, and enjoy the many safe and stunning cycle routes. We hope to be back and would definitely book Kersheil again.
Kersheil is located in the new development of Highburnside in Aviemore. Although in a quiet peaceful location the centre of Aviemore can be reached in less than 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot.
The town of Aviemore itself has several restaurants, bars, café’s and shops and there is a supermarket in the town centre for buying groceries for your stay or for home delivery if you prefer.
