Overall the apartment is in a great position within Inverness having great views over the castle, the high street and river, having parking in a private car park is a real asset. I do have a few points that I feel need to be addressed. 1: patio doors do not lock properly (apartment could be broken into very easily). 2: patio area very slippy (health & safety concern). 3: water pressure in shower very poor. 4: bedroom requires blackout curtain (due to light off of the Main Street coming in).

Great location. Just steps to everything. Management company very responsive when we had an issue. Apartment is a little tired. Needs refreshing. Rugs in need of a good cleaning. However, it is well equipped and with a few minor improvements would rate a 5 star.

The apartment is fine, however when the pubs (bars) close at 3 A.M. both of us woke up. The drunks are really loud, and even being 4 floors above you can hear them. They yell and scream for about an hour every night. We were able to use the washer which we wanted since we do jog and hike. When we were walking around or jogging in Inverness, the apartment location is good.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at apartment 404, the apartment has everything you could need. Its location, plus having parking is perfect, right in the centre of town close to all the bars and restaurants and around 15 minutes walk from Eden court theatre. Great view of the river Ness and the Castle. Formative feed back is that the bedroom would benefit from curtains and blackout blinds as the light floods into the bedroom early morning. We were unable to get the keys for the apartment at the allocated time as the last occupants were late in checking out. That aside we would have no qualms about recommending the apartment and we plan to return at some point

My wife and I came to Inverness for my nieces wedding, staying Friday to Monday. Wonderful location and we were so pleased with what the apartment had to offer and we really could not fault anything, however, the balcony door seemed to be damaged and could only be "locked by a single wee padlock on a very flimsy attachment thus rendering the door seal to be ineffective against noise and also gave a slight feeling of insecurity since there are other apartments running the length of the level with each apartment only separated by a small wire barrier. I am not being negative or fussy because we really did enjoy our stay, apart from the it it comes. If you really enjoy bagpipes and a rendition of Amazing Grace then you will be okay for approx 1hour because the the shop on the street level plays the same CD on a continuous loop all day from 9am until 10pm. we realised this on Friday night and especially Sunday. Owners please complain,we spoke to shop assistants and people we met who urged us to mention this. Oh and just so you know, we will be back to Inverness for the pipeband championship in Forres on the 24th of June, so we do like pipe bands:-)

We had an amazing weekend away just before Christmas at By the Bridge. Location is fantastic and the apartments are so clean. Love the private garage!!! The only thing I would say, which didn't bother us as such, but may not have been mentioned to you beforehand, is that the balcony doors do not lock? Unless we were doing it wrong! But will definitely be back either way :-) thank you!

Very happy with the accommodation, location and the parking was all excellent. We received the keys on time and the person who delivered them to the cafe was very helpful, as she showed us all we needed to know. The view from the apartment was very good. I would suggest grouting a few tiles above the bath as they will let water through eventually and could cause damage.

Pros: Beautiful apartment with great views. Everything included you could need with allocated parking space a real bonus. Cons: I was unable to lock both bedroom and lounge doors leading on to balcony. locking mechanism worked ok when door was open but wouldn't engage when closed so probably out of alignment. Not an issue if balcony was private but balcony in my apartment was a long balcony shared by other apartments only separated by rail partitions.

Thank you for your review. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay in the apartment but sorry to hear that there was an issue with the doors to the balcony. As you mention we keep very high standards in the apartment and as part of our continual improvement work we have had the doors stripped and refitted recently. On the rare occasion when there is a problem we are more than happy for guests to contact us on the telephone number we provide so we may remedy issues promptly. We didn't hear from you during your stay but have checked the door locking since and will ask the joiner to look at the adjustment. We do hope you will visit again when next in Inverness.

Surprisingly low street noise even Friday & Saturday nights. Location could not be better, easy to find and close to all the city has to offer, really made the short break! The apartment was splendid with no immediate drawbacks until I tried to get out of the shower the first morning. Getting into the shower is OK but getting out is rather difficult as the bath floor is quite higher than the bathroom floor and their is no support whatsoever. The exit was quite perilous with no internal or external support within or without the bath area. Some kind of support rails on the bath wall and shower wall would be a great asset. I was able to improvise something for my own use.

I had a very nice flat with more space than I needed and really well kitted out with a dishwasher in the kitchen (and your usuals like microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and stove) and a washing machine in the utility room. Which I found great that there even was a utility room! A very nice bathroom bathtub/shower and toilet plus a separate toilet. What a nice bonus! You are right in the city centre with a really nice view of the castle and the river in the background. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed of, the shower did not have any water pressure. Even the taps in the sinks had more pressure.

All in all a great stay, there was mentioning of noise due to central location but I think this is being overcautious I stayed on a Friday/Saturday and found no real concern with noise with windows open and zero issue with windows closed had a good nights sleep. One thing was no Aircon but again how often do we in the north have to worry about about a heat wave !¬> Flat was well presented, clean and well kitted out (Kitchen, Cooker/Utensils everything you would need including washing machine).
