UK domestic guests – if you live in the UK please provide names of all guests staying. There is no requirement to provide any other information.
Guests who live outside the UK – As you have booked providing a non-UK address and may not have British Nationality we are required by law* to record your passport number, place of issue of passport and details of your next destination following departure for the apartment.
All hotels will ask all non-UK resident guests for their passport when checking in and either keep it overnight or photocopy it. We understand that there may be risk in the time you do not have your passport or what happens with a photocopy. A passport may contain a variety of information about you and if stolen or mislaid would not be sufficient for a fraudster to use for identity theft unless supported by other documentation about you containing personal information.
As we do not have a reception facility where you would check in we will send all the details you require for your arrival in advance after you have checked in online. We do not ask for your passport, do not ask you to leave it with us upon arrival or even ask to see it we only need ID number so we may adhere to the law.
*Self-catering property and serviced accommodation for non-uk guests is governed by The Immigration (Hotel) Order 1972
There is no requirement to detail any guests under 16 years of age.
