Situated on what was the old road through Inverness to Edinburgh Fairfield lane is now a quiet cul-de-sac with a terrace of 6 small cottages. Fairfield Lane Cottage is the end property with parking directly outside the front door.

Not far from the River Ness the cottage is ideally situated for it’s quiet position yet is less than 2 minutes’ walk from the city centre. With a Supermarket within 50 metres walk, a bar and takeaway food restaurants the same distance if you don’t fancy that 2 minute walk to the city centre everything is right next door.

The cottage is a traditional stone build cottage on 2 floors and has been fully renovated to a high standard.

Eden Court Theatre is a 5 minute walk away, Inverness Castle a 2 minute walk and the bus and train stations about a 5-10 minute stroll.

For those that fancy a bit of retail therapy the High Street is again less than 5 minutes away with the Eastgate shopping centre at the end of the street.

Fairfield Lane Cottage is suitable for guests visiting the Highlands on holiday, business users looking for short or longer stays, visitors coming to the Inverness area for festivals or events and guests visiting friends and family.

Available for rental from 2 nights upwards throughout the year.

Accommodation & Facilities

Ground floor - Open plan lounge/kitchen on the ground floor. Lounge has a 2 seat settee and armchair, TV with Freeview and gas fire.

The fully fitted kitchen has gas hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

There is a cloakroom toilet and small hallway to the back door which exits to an alleyway. There is an iron and ironing board.

First floor – double bedroom with bedside cabinets, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is an alarm clock radio and hairdryer.

Shower room with plumbed shower with on demand hot water, wash hand basin and wc.

There is free parking (permit located inside the apartment) on the quiet street outside and free Wi-Fi.

All bedding and towels are supplied.

Gas central heating and gas fire in the lounge.

Tariff includes gas & electricity.

A cot and high chair are available upon request at a charge of £15 per booking. Apart from infants sleeping in a cot it is not possible to accommodate any additional guests. There is a maximum of 2 guests permitted (excluding infant).

Sorry no pets.

The first nights’ rental will be due on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final balance due 5 days before arrival. All payments are non-refundable once made in the event of cancellation or no show.

Check in time is anytime after 3pm and check out time is 10am. Key collection is on-site and arrangements will be made with you 5 days prior to arrival.

Location & Directions

From the A9 heading north take the first exit into Inverness at the Kessock Bridge roundabout.

Take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout, passing the BP filling station on the left, then the 2nd exit at the next roundabout also.

Take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout onto the bridge over the River Ness, keep in the left lane.

At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit along Kenneth Street. Keep in the left lane.

Fairfield Lane is the 4th road on the left. As you approach the School on the right just before the traffic lights and junction turn left just before the hairdresser.

The apartment is the end property 20 metres along on the right. Parking is directly outside, the permit for parking is inside the cottage.

If you miss the turn keep in the left lane, turn left at the lights then first left just after Tesco. Go into Tesco car park and go the exit road of the car park. The apartment is on the left just as you exit and has 23 on the front door.
