Situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and at the head of the Speyside way, Aviemore is easily accessed by rail, bus and car and is a village for all seasons. It is set in some of the most inspiring surroundings Scotlands great outdoors has to offer.

A mere 10 minute walk into the thriving village hosting an abundance of excellent eateries, retail outlets, leisure amenities, regular festival/events and a supermarket. Aviemore is an excellent base for the varied outdoor leisure experiences to be found in the Cairngorm National Park including: canoeing, hill climbing, pony trekking, cycling, gliding, quad biking, ice climbing, gorge walking, mountain biking, rafting and of course skiing. Cairngorm and The Lecht ski areas are easily accessible (a 20 and 40 minute drive respectively).

The wildlife in the area is as diverse as it is fascinating. The animals, fish, birds (watch ospreys fishing on Loch Garten!), flowers and trees enjoy the protection of the Cairngorms National Nature Park status enabling everyone to see and enjoy them at their best in a very well managed environment.

This newly built luxury apartment is on the first floor, sleeping up to 4 guests and has been finished, furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard.

Accommodation & Facilities

The apartment is on the first floor and is accessed via a communal entrance and stairway.

Spacious hallway leading to open plan living/kitchen/dining area with 2 sets of French doors both opening to juliette balconies. The lounge has ample seating with 2 x 2 seater sofas and a feature chair and foot stool, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, free Wi-Fi internet access and an iPod dock.

The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric double oven/grill and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and nespresso machine. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster and ample crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils.

Master bedroom with a double bed, en suite shower room, fitted wardrobes and hair dryer.

Double bedroom with two single beds and fitted wardrobes. There is a single pull out bed available to use in this room suitable for an additional child

Family bathroom with separate shower, bath, wc and basin.

Utility room with sink, washing machine and clothes dryer.

Underfloor heating throughout with temperature control in each room.

Outside there is a bike lock up area and shared outside garden and drying facilities.

No smoking is permitted within the holiday home apartment.

Sorry we are unable to accept dogs.

All bed linen and towels (1 bath and 1 hand towel per person) are included in the price

Key collection is by arrangement prior to arrival and arrival time is anytime after 4pm. Check out time is 10am.

Location & Directions

From the South: From the A9 South, turn off at B9152 signposted Aviemore. Take the next left and follow the road through Aviemore.

Continue through the village and take the second exit (straight on) at the mini roundabout by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Continue along Grampian road. Passing the entrance to the Dalfaber on your right (do not turn into Dalfaber) continue passing Grampian View on the left (do not turn into this road) and take the next left after Grampian View into Croftside.

Continue passing Croftside Road on the left and Allt Mor on the right.

The Steading Apartments are the next on the left. Flat 7 is situated on the first floor and is accessed via a communal entrance door in the centre of the development.

Quite the best apartment we have ever rented (and we have been to many). Well thought out and impressive provision of everything, down to the smallest item in the kitchen.Some people may say the flat was a little far from the centre, but we found it in an ideal, quiet place with everything accessible, and we had no car (but love walking the mile to the station)!
