We all enjoyed our time at the Taigh Fiodha cabin, to wake up to birds singing was a great start to the day. The cabin itself had everything you needed to make the stay a enjoyable one, the local supermarket was only a short drive away with lovely country views. We visited the mermaid of the north which was only a few minutes drive away from the cabin itself. Whilst we were there we visited the Big Burn and did the walk up to the waterfalls, took a cable car ride up to the Ben Nevis range, views are amazing and also did a boat trip on Loch Ness. A camera is recommended. The owner had put together a folder with all different activities we could of done during our stay, it was a shame we didn't have time to do more of them. In Tain there is a very nice curry house called Top Tain that is worth a visit. The only fault we could think of is that no of us wanted to leave. But we hope to visit Scotland again, and Taigh Fiodha is the place where we would stay again. There is nothing to improve as there was nothing to fault about the cabin, the owner Simon was very helpful and friendly.
We felt very welcome and just wished we had booked the cabin for longer than we did. As there is so much to see and do.
