Situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, and at the head of the Speyside way, Aviemore is easily accessed by rail, bus and car and is a village for all seasons, set in some of the most inspiring surroundings Scotlands great outdoors has to offer.

A mere 10 minute walk into the thriving village hosting an abundance of excellent eateries, retail outlets, leisure amenities, regular festival/events and a supermarket. Aviemore is an excellent base for the varied outdoor leisure experiences to be found in the Cairngorm National Park including: canoeing, hill climbing, pony trekking, cycling, gliding, quad biking, ice climbing, gorge walking, mountain biking, rafting and of course skiing.

The funicular or mountain railway will transport visitors to the Ptarmigan Top Station where you’ll find some of the most stunning scenery, the Shop at the Top and a restaurant, where you can relax and feel on top of the world.

The wildlife in the area is as diverse as it is fascinating. The animals, fish, birds (watch ospreys fishing on Loch Garten!), flowers and trees enjoy the protection of the Cairngorms National Nature Park status enabling everyone to see and enjoy them at their best in a very well managed environment.

This newly built luxury apartment, sleeping up to 6 guests, has been finished to an extremely high standard and has been decorated to an equally high standard.

Accommodation & Facilities

The apartment is accessed via a separate external entrance.

Spacious hallway leading to open plan/living/kitchen/dining area with French doors leading to the garden areas on the ground floor. The lounge has ample seating, 3D TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi internet access and a Bose speaker system to connect a smartphone or tablet.

The kitchen has everything you would wish for from electric double oven & hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, right down to an integrated wine cooler

Master bedroom with kingsize bed, en suite shower room and fitted wardrobes

Double bedroom with fitted wardrobes

Single bedroom with additional pull out single bed

Family bathroom with separate shower, bath, wc and basin.

Utility room with washing machine

Cloakroom with wc.

Underfloor heating throughout with temperature control in each room

The apartment is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.

A 25% deposit or the first nights rental, which is the greater amount, will  be due at point of booking to confirm your stay and is non-refundable. The balance will be charged 5 days prior to arrival. You may cancel your booking up to (not including) 5 days prior to arrival and the final balance and you will not be required to pay the final balance.

No smoking is permitted within the holiday home apartment.

Sorry we are unable to accept dogs.

Location & Directions

From the South: From the A9 South, turn off at B9152 signposted Aviemore. Take the next left and follow the road through Aviemore.

Continue through the village and take the second exit (straight on) at the mini roundabout by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Continue along Grampian road. Passing the entrance to the Dalfaber on your right (do not turn into Dalfaber) continue passing Grampian View on the left (do not turn into this road) and take the next left after Grampian View into Croftside.

Continue passing Croftside Road on the left and Allt Mor on the right.

The Steading Apartments are the next on the left. Both No9 (ground floor) and No10 (first floor) are the furthest away apartments on the far off gable end of the apartment building.

First class accommodation, Aviemore a great location

This was first class , beautifully furnished and well equipped. we booked as our son was getting married in the area. we were a party of 4 adults , 22month toddler and a new born (wasn't, on booking as unknown at that point) we had more than enough space and would recommend to any who will listen. many thanks for wonderful accommodation .

The accommodation was excellent. There was plenty of space for the four of us. Very clean and beautifully furnished. This was our second visit in 2 months to 'The Steading' and we will return in the future.

The apartment was fantastic, lots of space for us & our 2 young girls. The apartment is finished to a high standard & was bright, airy & very clean. The location of the apartment in Aviemore was great, close to everything & lots of lovely walks close by. Lots for us to do as a family. We've stayed in Aviemore several times before & this gave better value for money than the nearby hotels lodges.
