Ord Ban

Ord Ban

Treat yourself to a little luxury in Aviemore, in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park.

Ord Ban nestles in a quiet cud-de-sac overlooking the Cairngorm mountains.

It is a 3 bedroom semi-detached house which has been finished to an extremely high standard. The owners want guests to enjoy this house which has been elegantly finished in muted colours that reflect the heather and the hills of its Highland setting.

Equipped to a high standard, with lots of games and books on hand, you might never want to leave the warmth of Ord Ban. If you do it is just the place you would want to return to for a glass of wine or a wee dram after a strenuous day in the mountains or exploring the Cairngorm National Park or wider Scottish Highlands.

You can just chill out, standing at the Juliet balcony in the master bedroom, looking at the hills, or sit in the back garden watching the sky turn 30 shades of pink while those guests with children or dogs can watch them play safely in the large enclosed back garden.

There is off road parking for 2 cars and a lockable shed where you can safely store bikes or skis.

Ord Ban is ideally suited for those who want a peaceful location but within easy reach of the many restaurants and bars that Aviemore has to offer.

So, whether it is a string of Munros you want to tackle, a gentle walk in the beautiful Queens Forest, or one of the many other indoor and outdoor activities that Aviemore and the Highlands has to offer then Ord Ban is just the place for you

Great place to stay

Well furnished, superb area (quiet but close to the town centre). Lots of activities nearby that we could do with our children. Generally well thought out and extremely comfortable accommodation.

Karen, Pickering : 20th April, 2015

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic. Could not fault it in any way. Modern, clean, fully equipped and furnished, great central heating and appliances. The place was huge, and great value. Wished I lived there. Aviemore is great, the house is a bit further away from the village centre from than some places but still easily walkable. There is also a little local set of shops with a food store, bike shop and a couple of restaurants. Would be happy to leave a positive review on any travel site.
Tom, Bristol : 30th March, 2015

Fantastic house in very convenient location for aviemore and ski-ing .
Jennifer, Preston : 30th March, 2015

The house was ideally situated, about 20 mins walk into Aviemore centre, on a main road with footpaths - very easy to get in and out of town. The house was just lovely, very comfortable, modern furniture and facilities. Very spacious and suited our family really well as it had bunk beds and two double rooms, so plenty of room for 5 of us! It was very clean and warm, great heating as it was minus 5 degrees whilst we were staying. We had a fabulous holiday break in Ord Ban and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a holiday in Aviemore! Gael Holiday Homes were also very helpful with our booking and I would also highly recommend them!
Rachel, Flintshire : 3rd February, 2015

Accommodation was really good, nice big kitchen with plenty of room for family. Rooms very clean and modern. Peaceful location and shed was brilliant for keeping the bikes. Would definitely recommend.
