Situated 4 miles from Inverness, over the Kessock Bridge, this newly built house offers spacious open plan living with spectacular views over the Beauly Firth towards Inverness City, harbour and entrance to the Caledonian canal.

The Beauly Firth offers an abundance of wild life including dolphins, otters and a large variety of sea birds. If you want to explore the city of Inverness or tour the Highlands Bynackbeg Cottage makes an extremely comfortable centre. The West coast or the Cairngorms National Park being within easy reach. North Kessock has an hotel, approximately 1 mile away (with bar and serving good food), a well stocked Spar shop open from 08.00-20.00hr for items that you have forgotten and a waterfront cafe. The village hall has seasonal ceilidhs.

Charleston is a small friendly community with a regular bus service into the city centre. Eden Court Theatre and cinema (in Inverness) has a good range of evening events.

Ground floor:

Lounge: Linked to the kitchen/dining area by 3 steps this is an exceptionally spacious and bright area offering spectacular panoramic views over the water and Inverness City. As the cottage is on split levels, this room is above the garage. It is quiet and private with comfortable seating for 8. There is a flat screen tv, dvd player, music centre and free WiFi access.

Open plan kitchen diner: Spacious open plan area, linked to the lounge by 3 steps. Double patio doors to enclosed rear garden. Double oven. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave with conventional oven. Dining table seating 8.

Family room: A snug room, for quiet relaxation. Seats 5 with patio doors giving access to the rear enclosed garden.

Twin bedroom: Spacious entrance hall leading to stairs serving the split level accommodation. Twin bed room with views to the Beauly Firth.

Utility area: Situated in the rear entrance porch, housing a sink, miele washing machine and tumble drier.

First floor:

Master bedroom: Facing the rear garden, this room has a king size bed, built in double wardrobe and en-suite facilities.

Double bedroom: Facing the rear garden, the room has a double bed and built in wardrobe. All the bedrooms have ample storage.

Twin bedroom: Situated off a half way landing this room has spectacular views towards the waterside and city. Enjoy seeing the reflections of the cities lights in the water at night.

Family bathroom: Bath, shower, wash hand basin and w.c.

Outside space: To the front of the house there is off-street parking for 2 cars. to the rear there is an enclosed grassed garden with patio. There is seating, barbeque and a clothes drying line.

Stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.

A deposit of 25%, of the total tariff is requested in advance. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings).

No smoking is permitted within the holiday home.

A refundable security deposit of £100 will be required as part of your final balance payment.

Arrival time: after 2pm, departure time 9:30am.

The house is warmed throughout with central heating.

Location & Directions

Whether approaching from the North or the south on the A9, follow the signs to North Kessock (the exit is 2 miles north of the Kessock Bridge). At the round about, follow the sign to North Kessock. After 3/4 mile turn right at the village hall, taking the road along the shore front. This lead to Charleston. At the end of the village (approx 1 mile) you will reach the road Yairs Rise (sign on wall), turn right. After 30 yards you reach Bynackbeg Cottage at the first entrance on the right.
