Located on the road to Rothiemurchas and the Cairngorm Mountain Delmhor 4 is newly built holiday home furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The holiday home offers guests a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre yet is still within walking distance (2 miles) for guests who prefer not to drive, cycle or take a taxi to and from the town centre.

The holiday home is on the road from Aviemore to the Cairngorm Ski Centre and the Hilton Hotel at Colyumbridge is just along the road where there is a restaurant, bar and spa facilities.

Accommodation & Facilities

All rooms are on the same level. Delmhor 4 is a detached house.

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner – open plan living area.

Lounge – 3 seat settee, 2 seat settee and arm chair. Large flat screen TV with Freesat channels.

Kitchen – modern kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils.

Dining area – table and chairs to seat 6.

Master bedroom – Double bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobes, en suite shower room.

Second bedroom – Double bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe.

Third bedroom – Twin beds, bed side cabinet.

Family bathroom – bath with shower, wash hand basin, toilet.

Outside – front and back garden gardens have grass with patio area in back garden. There is a covered veranda at the front of the house with table and chairs for 4. There is a private driveway suitable for parking 2 cars.

The house is in a small cul-de-sac with no through traffic.

The house is heated throughout by central heating and there is an electric water heating system.

Wi-fi is provided at no extra cost.

All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the price. The holiday home is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies.

A deposit of 25% of the total tariff is requested in advance. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings). A refundable good housekeeping deposit of

£100 will be required as part of your final balance payment.

Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional cost of £25 per dog (small or medium sized dogs only please).

No smoking is permitted within the holiday home.

Due to the Cairngorm National Park being in a rural area, mobile phone coverage can be intermittent and dependant on your network carrier.

Travel cot & high chair available at no extra charge - please bring your own blankets.

Check in time after 4pm, check out time 10am.

Note: From July 2016 work will begin to build 5 houses in the same street as this property. The contractor has agreed to limit working hours to during the day. The area of work will be fenced off and will be secure.

Location & Directions

From the south turn off the A9 when signposted and take the B9152 toward Aviemore. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout toward Coylumbridge B970. Continue past the Rothiemuchas Centre. Continue passed Delmhor (yellow sign) and take the next left 100 metres along. Follow the cul-de-sac round to the left and No4 is the last property on the right.

Ideal location for us - close to the forest for biking and access to mountains for ski touring. Cottage was a great space for our babies to crawl about. It was well equipped and clean and comfortable.
