Cariad

Cariad

This holiday home is ideally located for exploring the whole of the Highland region - from here you can take a day trip the stunning west coast; head north to explore dramatic cliffs and white sweeping sands, or south to the Cairngorm mountain range just 40 minutes away. There are golf courses, castles, whisky distilleries, museums, horse riding, sailing, fishing, canoeing and cycling all available locally.

The area is renowned for its pretty coastal fishing villages and lovely unspoilt beaches which seem untouched by time. The historic town of Cromarty nearby is well worth a visit, with its attractive winding lanes, brightly coloured mariner’s houses and beautiful coastal walks.

From here you can take a sea safari to encounter the famous bottle nosed dolphins, seals and numerous sea birds that frequent this coastline. The area is a bird watcher’s paradise, with osprey, eagles and rare red kites regularly seen in the vicinity.

Cariad has been architect - designed to ensure maximum light, space and views. The spacious lounge, separate dining room and second lounge/family room, together with an exceptionally well - equipped kitchen and two beautiful en - suite bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi bath) makes it ideal for a two family holiday or for a special occasion break. A unique feature of the property is the beautiful Mediterranean style courtyard garden situated at its heart, accessed by French windows. The generous garden is fully enclosed.

Guest Reviews

A very spacious house for 6 people, to a very high standard. It is as you see it in the photos of the property. No tricks with wide angled lenses!

We loved the location, wonderful views across the Cromarty Firth, house is beautiful and was great for us with 2 teenage Daughters because there was lots of space for everybody. Ideal for out little Westie, the garden was safe and enclosed so he could enjoy being outside. We would definately like to go again and missing it already.
