Within a ten minute walk from the centre of Aviemore, this newly built apartment is of the highest standards and offers superior quality self catering accommodation.

Within easy walking distance to centre of Aviemore – about 20 mins and 30 minutes bus or drive to the ski slope carpark and Funicular railway. Hourly bus service to Aviemore and up to Cairngorm Mountain. On main road bus service to Inverness and surrounding villages.

The holiday apartment lounge has views over the roof tops to the Cairngorm Mountains and the double en suite bedroom has views to Ghuilbin Hill and Kinveachy Forest.

Dalfaber Golf and Country Club 7 min walk – where a weekly membership can be taken out for swimming, squash and various other activities. Also Dalfaber is the nearest bar and restaurant.

Walking in the Cairngorm National Park, cycling, bird watching, fishing, horse riding, gorge walking, sailing, canoeing, shopping and eating out are just some of the things on offer.

The Funicular Mountain Railway, the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Landmark Forest Heritage Park and the award winning Highland Folk Museum and Park are all easy to reach from Aviemore.

Accommodation & Facilities

1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room, 1 twin bedroom, bright open plan living/dining/kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath. Cooking by electricity, gas central heating. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, LCD television.

All bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and parking is included in the price.

A deposit of 25% of the total tariff is requested in advance. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings).

No smoking is permitted within the holiday home.

A refundable security deposit of £50 will be required as part of your final balance payment.

Sorry no pets. Please note - the apartment is not suitable for infants and young children.

Location & Directions

Approaching Aviemore from the north or east follow signs for Aviemore B9152. Just after 30 mph limit signs, turn left into Dougall Drive, right at mini roundabout and first right into car park. Drive straight forward and park - flat 34 on left.

Approaching Aviemore from the south on the A9, leave the A9 at signs for Aviemore B9152. Drive straight through Aviemore village to the north end of the village, approximately 1.5 miles, and turn right into Dougall Drive, right at mini roundabout and first right into car park onto Newland Road.

Had a weekend stay with my family last summer and was very happy with the accommodation. Really nicely done out with fully equipped kitchen. Owner was very friendly and was there for us when we arrived to show us around. Flat is in a new residential area with plenty of outdoor space and parking outside your door. Would definately recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Mountain View apartment in august 2011. It was a perfect apartment, very modern and equipped to an extremely high standard. Its location was ideal with a short stroll into town. The owner met us on our arrival and she was very nice and helpful.

This is our 2nd stay at this flat which I think says it all really, lets face it you wouldn't go back unless you were happy 1st time around. The flat is as comfortable and homely as it was before and still feels like a home from home. Would not be surprised if we go again it that good.

Loved the view, the location, the easy parking, the modern facilities, the TOTAL PEACE and Quiet (admittedly an empty building), the comfy bed and lovely hot walk in shower. Lots of walks and places to visit - 10 minutes to the Rothiemurchas estate and their Highland ponies for trekking into back country that most people never get to see - wonderful.

The facilities in this apartment are top notch. I loved the hot, powerful shower - great for freshening up after a days activities. The beds are super comfy with lovely clean and fresh bed linen. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking an evening meal, including a dishwasher! The washing machine/tumble dryer and airing cupboard were an added bonus. The views over the mountains are stunning and it was fascinating to watch the changing light on the peaks.

This apartment was modern, clean, cosy and very comfortable, the beds in particular were fantastic. It really was a home from home. There was plenty of cutlery, crockery and cookware as well as little extras like washing up liquid, kitchen roll, tin foil which were all very useful. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Very good standard overall. Most impressively equipped ie.cling film for our picnic lunch up the mountain to plenty of towels in bathroom. excellently cleaned and relaxing to come back to after a hard days skiing.
