Our beautiful little Snug apartment is on the High Street in Grantown on Spey, the perfect base in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park suitable for golfers, walkers, skiers, fishers or holiday makers. With so much to do in our area at any time of the year this is a great part of the world to stay. Grantown on Spey is on the Speyside Whisky Trail and the Dava Way and even if you are not the adventurous type there are plenty of places to eat, drink, shop and generally relax.

The Snug is situated just around the corner from the Co-Op which is open until 10pm every night so you don't have to come with a weeks worth of food. There are lots of local places to eat, or to get a takeaway or you can go to Aviemore or up to Inverness for even more choice.

Enjoy a comfortable, quiet and relaxing break in the Highlands of Scotland in The Snug on your own or with a friend or partner, sleeping up to 2 maximum in a superking zip link bed or two singles. Being a studio apartment there is no room for another bed or cot so unfortunately no babies or children can be accommodated with us.

Accommodation & Facilities

Lounge/Bedroom - A large airy room with defined seating area and sleeping area. The superking zip link bed can also be separated into two singles and we provide bedding. The seating area comprises a two seater sofa and an easy chair with footstool. A sideboard containing board games and local area information an a digital TV with Freeview.

Kitchen - A fully equipped kitchen containing a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric oven, electric hob and a digital radio. Please note there is no dishwasher or freezer. Ample cupboard space with crockery, glasswear, utensils and cutlery. We provide ground coffee, tea bags, herbal tea bags, shortbread, sugar and a pint of milk for everyone on arrival - enough so you can have a hot drink when you arrive. There will also be a bottle of filtered water and the tap water is safe to drink.

Bathroom - A clean and spacious shower room with corner electric shower, wc and wash hand basin. There is also shelving and we provide towels and a toilet roll. There is also a washing machine (no tumble dryer) and we provide x 2 washing tablets.

Cancellation policy - a 25% deposit will be charged on the day of booking with the final balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Check in time anytime after 15:00, check out time 10:30.

Location & Directions

The main door to the communal stair is on the main High Street in Grantown on Spey between Mortimers and the Post Office. The off street parking is at the back of the building and is accessed via Seafield Avenue and then into the Post Office Delivery entrance. There is an alleyway to the High Street and you will require a key to the gate any time after 5pm Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday.

Grantown on Spey is 12 miles from the A9 and if travelling from the south, take the 2nd turning to Aviemore and follow the road for 11 miles to the roundabout, turn left at the roundabout and come all the way up into town and we are near the end of the High Street before you reach the Square.
