This is a charming cottage and perfectly situated in the center of Dornoch. There is a cozy sitting room with gas fireplace and the entire house has been beautifully decorated. Very up-to-date kitchen and baths. As I enjoy cooking, the kitchen provided all the necessary equipment and the appliances are all new. Comfortable beds with fine linens. Really, there is nothing lacking - all the comforts of home. There is a lovely lady who oversees the care of this home who is a treasure. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day. Highly recommend this property. And Gael Holidays is a pleasure to deal with!

Close to all amenities in Dornoch which we know well. We liked the front garden with its sunny aspect and the character of the property.
Donald & Fiona, Bearsden : 19th September, 2015

The character of the house. The nice furnishings, the roominess and the modern kitchen. Also an interesting historic town with a groceries, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The housekeeper was very pleasant and charming.
Bob, Kingston, Ontario : 4th June, 2015

Cottage is centrally located in Dornoch and is within a short walking distance of all amenities e.g. shops, golf courses, beach. However, the location is quiet and the cottage and facilities provided are very clean and in very good condition. It is ideal for 2/4 people and provides an ideal base for exploring the North and North East of Scotland as well as more local attrations.
Alistair, Edinburgh : 4th May, 2015

One of the nicest looking cottages in Dornoch, in immaculate condition and conveniently close to everything in the village. The town is quiet and peaceful with excellent restaurants, one of which is only 2 doors away from the cottage. The housekeeper was always immediately available by phone if we had any questions and was friendly and helpful. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could need. The gas fire in the sitting room warms the room up beautifully in no time. Lovely applicances, including a washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Roslyn, Minnesota : 4th October, 2014

Janet, High Peak : 28th July, 2014

Liked Dornoch, and the peace and quiet. It was a very convenient base for our week of archaeology. Chairs in lounge were comfortable, which is not always true of self catering accommodation!
