Urquhart Mill Lodge self catering holiday home on the Black Isle

Urquhart Mill is set amidst farmland on the beautiful Black Isle, on the North East Highlands of Scotland, between Inverness and Dingwall.

Situated on the edge of a farm 12 miles from Inverness, Urquhart Mill Lodge is 3 miles from Conon Bridge and 6 miles from Dingwall. In a private site on the edge of a wood with your own driveway and parking for 2 cars, the intention at Urquhart Mill has been to provide luxurious and relaxing breaks in the Highlands throughout the year - including Christmas and New Year.

The bungalow was newly built in 2004 and designed to maximise on the surrounding nature and views. The are 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people plus there is a lovely big cot available with mattress.

We also have a high chair for smaller guests.

The holiday home is stocked with a starter supply of washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (if applicable), toilet rolls and other kitchen and bathroom supplies. There are also hairdryers in every bedroom. A deposit of 25% is requested in advance. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday (or by arrangement for short notice bookings). No smoking is permitted within the holiday home. A refundable good housekeeping deposit of £50 will be required as part of your final balance payment.

Directions & travel info

By Car - From Inverness Follow A9 from roundabout at foot of Kessock bridge for 5.9 miles At the Tore roundabout, take the third exit onto A9 for Wick. Carry on until just before Cromarty Bridge, turn left directly before bridge and Urquhart Mill is the second farm on the road. The white farm house is on the right hand side and Urquhart Mill on the left hand side between 2 farm buildings. From West Coast (Conon Bridge) At Dingwall roundabout go straight over (exit for Tore/Inverness) Then take 1st turning on left. Follow road through Alcaig. About 1/2 mile after Alcaig you will see large white farmhouse on your left Urquhart Mill is opposite farmhouse, between 2 farm buildings.
